David Thevenote
David Thevenote, or “Dr. E,” has been with Cleco for more than five years as a product management specialist. He manages Cleco’s Power Miser Program, a program that rewards customers for building energy-efficient homes. He organizes and participates in symposiums for builders, developers and contractors to teach energy efficiency and building codes. He also participates in home shows statewide, touting the benefits of energy efficiency in new construction and existing homes. His knowledge of energy-efficient building techniques makes him in an invaluable resource to Cleco customers. He is administrator of Cleco’s water heater program and works closely with water heater distributors to learn the latest in water heating technologies. He is a member of the Residential Energy Services Network as a certified energy rater.
David also regularly participates in Cleco's low-income weatherization projects as part of the Cleco Cut-a-Watt employee volunteer group.


Paul LaGrange has lots of experience in commercial and residential construction and really knows how to weatherize or build a home for Louisiana’s hot and humid climate. His involvement includes: the St. Tammany Parish Home Builders Association, LSU AgCenter, St. Tammany Home Builders Association, West St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, Work Initiative Network, Louisiana Home Builders Association, St. Tammany Parish Government Building Code Council, and the International and Council of American Building Officials. He helps manage the Power Miser energy efficiency program for Cleco Corp., provides continuing education to licensed contractors and licensed home inspectors, as well as energy efficiency seminars for homeowners. This indoor air quality specialist performs building diagnostic/investigation testing, code compliance, performance testing and commissioning buildings. He engineers and designs HVAC and Indoor Air Quality systems. Paul is a registered Energy Star Partner and is an energy consultant, certified by the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources. He is a member of the Residential Energy Services Network and the Association of Energy Engineers.
